Santo Domingo: the only market where our software runs a hotel every night

Everywhere else we can show you a website. Here we can show you a hotel that has been running on our software for months, and the numbers it produced.

Work that is already running here

Santo Domingo Bay has been running Estevano, the hotel product we build and operate, for months. In four months it handled around 2,500 real guest requests: about twenty a day, effectively all of them resolved, with a median of sixteen minutes to resolution and three minutes to the first reply. Ninety three per cent of those requests were raised by the guest through the app or the assistant, with no queue at reception and no phone call. Room service and housekeeping alone are two thirds of the volume.

For Global Dynamic Security Group, an independent security services group licensed in the country, we built the brand and the bilingual site, in Spanish and English, and it is live at gdsglobalsecurity.com.

Why the Dominican Republic is different for us

Everywhere else our proof is a website you can open. Here it is an operation: staff using a console during a shift, guests raising requests at midnight, tickets routed to a department with an owner and a clock. That is a harder thing to build and a much harder thing to fake, and it is the reason this market matters to us more than its size suggests.

Time zone and language

Santo Domingo is four hours behind Madrid, so our afternoon is your morning and the overlap covers your whole working day. We work in Spanish and English natively, and the interface copy, the guest messages and the support replies are written by the same people who build the product.

How we work here

We are not on the island. Everything is built and run from Madrid, with the client's own accounts holding the infrastructure wherever that is possible, and the client owning the repository from day one. Where the work needs someone physically present, that is planned and quoted before it starts, never assumed.

What we build for Dominican businesses

Hotels and resorts: the guest app, the staff console, the in-stay operation and the site around whichever booking engine you already pay for. Security, logistics and services companies: the brand, the bilingual site and the internal tools that replace a spreadsheet and a group chat. And for any of them, the AI visibility work that decides whether an assistant recommends you to a traveller who is choosing tonight.

FAQ

Questions, answered

Do you have an office in Santo Domingo?
No. Santo Domingo is the one market on this list where we keep no workspace at all. We serve the Dominican Republic from Madrid, four hours ahead, and we say so plainly rather than implying a local presence we do not have.
Can we talk to the hotel that already uses your software?
Ask us and we will ask them. A reference call is theirs to give, not ours to promise, so we will not put their name forward before they have agreed to it.
In what currency do you invoice Dominican clients?
In euro or in US dollars, whichever suits your accounting. The contract is with POLARGATE, S.L., a Spanish company, and the invoice carries our Spanish tax identification.
Do we have to change our booking engine to work with you?
No, and we will not ask you to. We build the site, the content and the operation around the engine you already pay for, and we never touch that contract.
How fast can a hotel here start?
Guest registration works without touching your property management system, by reception or by an expiring link, so a pilot can start in days rather than waiting on an integration. Connecting a specific property management system is separate work and we quote it once we have seen its specification.
