What people ask before we start.

How much does it cost to build a custom website or internal platform?
The Discovery Sprint has a fixed price, and it ends with a fixed price for the build itself. What moves that price is the number of languages, modules and integrations, and how much of an old system has to come along. There is no hourly billing during a build: scope and price are agreed before anyone writes code. Book a call and you get a first read of scope and price, then a private quote.
How long until we have something live?
The first shipped iteration reaches production four to eight weeks after Discovery, and Discovery itself takes about two weeks. What lands first is a working slice with real data rather than a clickable prototype, so you can put it in front of real users while the rest is built. Larger internal platforms are delivered in phases, with a first testable version roughly a month after development starts.
Do we own the code and the data?
Yes. The Git repository, the Supabase project, the Vercel project and the App Store and Google Play accounts are yours, and the handover pack includes environment variables, admin accounts and a runbook. Polargate does not build on a proprietary platform you cannot leave, and when a prototype starts on a tool like Lovable it is moved onto your own infrastructure before launch.
Can you integrate with the systems we already use?
Yes, and in practice that is most of the work. Past builds connect to hotel property management systems such as Oracle Opera Cloud, booking engines, WordPress as a content source, card payment terminals, transactional email and messaging channels including WhatsApp and SMS. If a system has an API or a documented export, it can be integrated. If it does not, Discovery says so before you commit to anything.
Can you get my company mentioned in ChatGPT?
We can make it possible, not certain. Assistants cite pages they can read, so Polargate makes sure every route serves real HTML, carries accurate structured data and answers the question in the first paragraph. Then we track a fixed panel of buyer prompts each month across ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Mode and Claude. Nobody can guarantee a citation, and anyone who does is selling something else.
Do you maintain a site or app you did not build?
Yes, if we can take it over properly. Care starts with an audit of the live site and the repository, so both sides know what is there before anyone commits to hours. Stacks we do not work in, or code we cannot get access to, are not a fit and we say so. If the state is bad, a remediation project comes first and the retainer starts after it.
Is it safe to let an AI agent change my production code?
The agent never touches production. It classifies the ticket and opens a pull request in your repository, and a human reviews the diff before anything is merged or deployed. Two limits are enforced in the database itself: no automatic deployment and no automatic reply to a client. There is also a daily spending cap. You keep exactly the review trail you would have with a human only team.
What happens after launch?
You can take the product in house, because everything already lives in your accounts, or move to the CARE line: a monthly retainer for maintenance, evolution and support, run through Polargate's ServiceDesk with an hour balance you can check. CARE exists because a live product needs security updates, content changes and small improvements every month.
