The legal entity is POLARGATE, S.L., CIF B24895005, so a Spanish company gets a Spanish invoice in euros with Spanish VAT and none of the friction of contracting abroad. Pedro Ciordia, founder and CTO, is the person you scope with, the person who writes code and the person you escalate to. The studio works natively in Spanish, English and Dutch, and serves the Netherlands and Benelux from Madrid.

The Spanish details that decide whether a project works

Building for Spain is not building in English and translating afterwards. What we have already solved here:

  • Card payments through a Spanish bank. We integrated an Abanca virtual terminal operated by Cecabank (CECA protocol, not Redsys or Stripe): amount re-read server-side, signature verification, anti-replay operation numbers, idempotent notifications and a documented refund procedure. The first real charge went through in August 2026.
  • Shipping the way Spanish carriers actually charge. Weight by zone for Madrid, peninsula and Baleares, Correos for light parcels, preparation fees, VAT applied per line, free-shipping thresholds that do not quietly give away margin, and Canarias, Ceuta and Melilla handled explicitly.
  • Regional regulation before marketing. For a rural property in the Sierra de Guadarrama we mapped what the holiday-rental rules of the Comunidad de Madrid allow before writing a single line of commercial copy, then built the strategy around products that could legally be sold.
  • Spanish that reads as Spanish. European Spanish written natively, ES and EN versions (French too when needed) with localised URLs per language, reciprocal hreflang and a canonical per language. No machine translation bolted on top.
  • Sector data, not filler. A course handicap calculator built on official federation slope and course rating data, with WHS rounding and Spanish decimal notation, is the level of specificity we work at.

Can Polargate invoice a Spanish company with VAT?
Yes. POLARGATE, S.L. (CIF B24895005) is a Spanish company registered in Madrid and invoices in euros with Spanish VAT, which a Spanish business deducts as normal. Invoices, hour balances and support tickets live in the client portal, so you can see what you are paying for. For clients established outside Spain, the VAT treatment follows their case.
