POLARGATE
Pricing

Real prices, published before the first call

Six ways to work with Polargate, each with a starting price, what it includes and what changes it. Fixed prices after a paid discovery, no hourly billing on projects, and no surprises on the final invoice.

  • AI Visibility Audit

See exactly what ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity read on your site.

    From 1,500 EUR

One-off, credited in full against a build contracted within 60 days

Companies with a site that Google tolerates but AI assistants cannot read: a JavaScript app that ships an empty shell, or an ageing WordPress.

    • Crawler probe with the real user agents (GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot), measuring the bytes of text each one actually receives
    • Rendering, robots.txt and edge firewall review, so nothing silently returns a challenge page to an AI fetcher
    • Structured data checked against the visible text, plus one consistent Organization entity across your site and public profiles
    • Sitemap, lastmod, canonicals and hreflang, in every language you publish
    • Core Web Vitals and security headers measured on the live site, not on a staging copy
    • Findings report where every item is verified by a second reviewer before it reaches you
    • A 30-, 60- and 90-day remediation plan with a fixed price for the work
    Book the audit
  • Discovery Sprint

    Start

Two weeks to a closed scope, a closed architecture and a closed price.

    From 4,900 EUR

One-off, two weeks, 50% credited against a build that starts within 60 days

Teams about to commission a platform, portal or app who need a decision they can defend internally, not another proposal deck.

    • Working sessions with the people who actually do the work, not only with the sponsor
    • A read of your real data: the spreadsheets, exports and systems the process runs on today
    • Scope written as what is in and what is explicitly out
    • Architecture, integrations and data model, sized against the stack you already pay for
    • Success metrics and the risks that could break the plan, with what we would do about each
    • A decision pack under 25 pages, yours to keep and to take to another studio if you prefer
    • A fixed price and a delivery calendar for the build
    Start a Discovery Sprint
  • AI-first website

Real HTML on every route, for people, search engines and AI assistants alike.

    From 7,600 EUR

    Per project, paid 50/30/20

Mid-market companies and hotels whose current site is a client-rendered shell or a WordPress nobody dares to touch.

    • Every route prerendered as static HTML (Vite, React, static site generation), in two or three languages with reciprocal hreflang
    • A schema.org graph generated from the visible text, with one canonical Organization entity
    • Contact forms on an edge function with rate limiting and row level security, transactional email from your own subdomain
    • Security headers and a content security policy in enforce mode, GA4 with Consent Mode v2
    • Integration with the booking engine or CRM you already pay for, whichever vendor it is
    • A multi-agent audit before launch: findings verified, then fixed, then verified again
    • Migration from Lovable, Webflow or WordPress, with the repository in your GitHub organisation
    Get a fixed quote
  • Custom operating system

The internal portal or web app that finally replaces the spreadsheets.

    From 12,000 EUR

Per project, 50/30/20 or monthly instalments by SEPA direct debit

Operations teams running a real business on shared spreadsheets, email chains and photos in WhatsApp, where the coordination gaps cost money.

    • A data model built from your own spreadsheets and process, not from a template
    • Eight to twelve modules: planning, tasks by department, incidents with photos, checklists, goods receipt, immutable audit log
    • Role based access with row level security forced at the database, on a Supabase project that is yours
    • Mobile first from the first screen, because the people using it are rarely at a desk
    • Email alerts from your own domain, and a first clickable demo within weeks of the kick-off
    • Two adversarial audit passes before handover, plus onboarding for your first users
    Scope your system
  • App to production

From prototype to the App Store and Google Play, release pipeline included.

    From 9,900 EUR

    Per project, paid 50/30/20

Companies with a no-code prototype or a stalled app that has to ship, and then has to keep shipping without a rebuild every time.

    • Backend moved onto your own Supabase project with data parity verified and user identifiers preserved
    • Native builds with Capacitor or React Native, content served live from your CMS
    • Push notifications through APNs and FCM, with a kill switch you control
    • Over the air updates from our own release hub, so a copy fix does not wait for a store review
    • Signing, store metadata, privacy declarations and a CI pipeline that builds from a tag
    • Submission to the App Store and Google Play, and monitoring once the app is live
    Plan your release
  • Care retainer

Senior maintenance and steady evolution, on a contract you can actually read.

    From 850 EUR per month

Monthly by SEPA direct debit, three-month minimum

Companies with something live that they want to keep improving instead of watching it decay until the next redesign.

    • Two monthly pools of hours, one for maintenance and one for urgent work, both visible in your portal
    • A ServiceDesk with email in and out: you write to support and a ticket exists, with no chasing
    • An automated audit of the live site or app on the first of every month
    • An autonomous fix agent that prepares the change, with a senior review of every diff before it ships
    • Dependency, security and performance upkeep, plus small improvements each month
    • A monthly report in plain language: what changed, what it cost, what comes next
    • Response within 48 working hours

How it works

Almost no studio in this market says what its work costs. You have to book a call first. We publish the numbers, because a price is information rather than a negotiating tactic, and because you should be able to tell in thirty seconds whether we fit your budget.

Every figure on this page is a from price. It is the real floor: the price at which we can do the work properly. If your project needs more than that, you hear it before you commit, in writing, with the reason.

Fixed price after a paid discovery. Contained work, such as an audit, is quoted fixed from the start. Every build, websites included, goes through a Discovery Sprint first, because a fixed price without a scope is either padded or an argument waiting to happen. The sprint ends with a closed scope, a closed architecture and a closed price. If you decide not to build, the decision pack is still yours.

On projects we do not bill by the hour. Hours are our problem: you buy a defined result and a date. Hours appear in one place only, the Care retainer, where a monthly pool makes the maintenance visible and gives you room for small changes.

What moves the price: the number of languages, integrations with systems we do not control, whether your content and photography are ready or have to be produced, a migration where the old system has to stay live while we work, and any compliance requirement that comes with an audit trail. What does not move it: the number of revisions inside an agreed scope.

Not included: media budget for paid campaigns, third party licences and subscriptions (hosting, domains, PMS or booking engine fees, stock photography, AI provider usage), and translation of long copy we did not write. You pay those directly to the provider, so the account stays in your name and we add no margin to it.

Payment. Projects are 50 percent to start, 30 percent at the agreed milestone and 20 percent on delivery. Larger builds can be split into monthly instalments by SEPA direct debit when a single invoice is awkward for your cash flow. Retainers are invoiced monthly in advance by SEPA, with a three-month minimum and thirty days notice after that. Prices exclude VAT: clients in Spain add 21 percent, and companies in another EU country with a valid VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge.

If a number here does not fit your budget, say so in the first email. We will tell you honestly whether there is a smaller first step or whether we are the wrong studio for you.

FAQ

Questions, answered

How much does a website cost with Polargate?
From 7,600 euros, fixed, for an AI-first site in two or three languages with every route served as real HTML. The price rises with a fourth language, a complex booking engine or CRM integration, content and photography we have to produce, or a migration where the old site must stay live. You get the exact figure in writing before anything starts, and you pay 50/30/20.
Why does Polargate charge for discovery instead of writing a free proposal?
Because a fixed price without a real scope is either padded or an argument later. The Discovery Sprint costs from 4,900 euros, takes two weeks and ends with a scope, an architecture, success metrics and a closed price in a decision pack of under 25 pages. Half of it is credited against the build if you start within 60 days, and the pack is yours whatever you decide.
Do you work with fixed prices or bill by the hour?
Fixed prices on projects. You buy a defined result and a delivery date, so the hours it takes are our risk and not your invoice. The only place hours are counted is the Care retainer, where a monthly maintenance pool and a smaller urgent pool are tracked in your portal, so you can see exactly what was spent and on what.
What happens if the scope changes halfway through the project?
We stop, price the change and you decide before anyone writes code. Changes inside the agreed scope, wording, layout, revisions, are already covered and cost nothing extra. A new module, a new integration or a new language is quoted as an addition, with its own price and its own effect on the delivery date. Nothing is added quietly to the final invoice.
Who owns the code and the accounts when the project is finished?
You do. The code, the design files and the data are yours, and your right to use them does not depend on staying with us. We work in a GitHub repository and cloud accounts (Supabase, Vercel, the domain) that belong to you, or we transfer them to you at handover if we started on ours. Nothing sits behind a login only we control.
Are Polargate's prices with or without VAT?
Without. Every figure on this page excludes VAT. Clients in Spain add 21 percent Spanish VAT. Companies in another EU country with a valid intra-community VAT number are invoiced under the reverse charge, so we charge no VAT and you account for it locally. Clients outside the EU are invoiced without VAT. Invoices are issued by POLARGATE, S.L., CIF B24895005, Madrid.
Can I cancel the Care retainer?
Yes, after the first three months, with thirty days notice. The minimum exists because the first weeks go into the backlog and into setting up the monthly automated audit, not to trap anyone. Billing is monthly in advance by SEPA direct debit. If you stop, your repositories, accounts and ticket history stay yours and we hand back anything still on our side.
What is not included in your prices?
Three things. Media budget for paid campaigns, which you pay to Google or Meta directly. Third party licences and subscriptions: hosting, domains, PMS or booking engine fees, stock photography and AI provider usage. And content we are not contracted to produce, such as professional photography or long-form translation. We add no margin to any of it, and the accounts stay in your name.
