# Delete your PolarGate TV account.

You can delete your account from the app or ask us by email.

## 01 From the app

- Open PolarGate TV and go to **Cuenta** (Account). The app is in Spanish.
- At the bottom, tap **Borrar la cuenta** (Delete account).
- Confirm twice. The account is deleted at that moment, on all your devices.

## 02 Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to [hello@polargate.ai](mailto:hello@polargate.ai) from the email address of your account, with the subject "Delete my PolarGate TV account". If you signed in with Apple and hid your email, write from the address that receives Apple's forwarded mail, or tell us and we will help you prove the account is yours. We check that the request comes from the account's email, delete the account and confirm it to you by email within one month at most, usually much sooner.

## 03 What is deleted

- Your account: email, user id and name if you shared it. Every device loses its session.
- Sign in with Apple: we revoke the app's access with Apple first and delete the Apple token.
- Your IPTV line and its credentials in the Supabase Vault.
- Your preferences, your AI permission, your viewing progress and My list.
- The record of your subscription and your AI search and line-check counters.
- Your line's catalogue stops being linked to you. If no other account uses it, it is deleted too.

## 04 What is not deleted

- **The subscription.** Deleting the account does not cancel it. Cancel it in the store: on Apple devices in Settings > your name > Subscriptions, on Android in Google Play > Payments and subscriptions.
- Apple's and Google's own records of your purchases, which they keep under their policies.
- Your contract with your IPTV provider, which has nothing to do with us.
- For a short time, copies in the automatic backups of our provider and in server logs, until they are overwritten or deleted automatically.

Deleting the account cannot be undone. You can create a new one with the same email whenever you want, but it starts empty. More detail in the [privacy policy](https://polargate.ai/tv/privacidad).
