Santo Domingo is a market we serve rather than an office, so it has no address, and the whole map runs from UTC-8 to UTC+1. In short Polargate publishes nine locations. Madrid is the registered office of POLARGATE, S.L. at Calle Electrónica 6; Amsterdam, Dublin, Hamburg, Munich, New York, Miami and Los Angeles are contracted workspaces with a real street address, not registered seats; Santo Domingo is a market we serve and carries no address. The studio itself is two people, Pedro Ciordia as founder and CTO and Andrés Ciordia as Chief AI Officer, with network specialists joining per project, so these are working addresses rather than local headcount. What a buyer actually gets from the map is a working day that stretches from UTC-8 to UTC+1 and native Spanish, English and Dutch. ## Nine addresses and two people Better to say it before you ask it. Polargate is a two-person studio: Pedro Ciordia, founder and CTO, and Andrés Ciordia, Chief AI Officer, with specialists from our network joining per project. Nine cities on a map and two names on the payroll is an obvious tension, and we would rather explain it than let you find it out on a call. These are working addresses and presence, not local headcount. Where there is an address, there is a real building we can meet you in, receive post at and put on a contract. Where there is no address, we are honest that it is a market we serve rather than a place we sit. Nobody is going to promise you a local account manager who then turns out to be one of the same two people, because it is those two people on every project by design. That is the point of a senior led studio: no account layer, no juniors rotating through your codebase. ## Europe, five cities in one working day Madrid is the registered office of POLARGATE, S.L. and where technical direction sits. Amsterdam is the Benelux base, in Dutch, close enough to Madrid that both run on the same clock. Dublin covers Ireland and the European arms of English speaking groups. Hamburg and Munich are two German workspaces rather than one: the northern trading and logistics economy in the first, the industrial and technology belt in the second. All five sit within an hour of each other, so a European client effectively gets one continuous day. ## The Americas, four cities and one honest gap New York and Miami extend the afternoon into the American morning; Los Angeles carries it to the end of the Pacific working day, which is why the coverage line reaches UTC-8. Miami also runs in Spanish, which matters for Latin American groups with a US front. Santo Domingo is the exception on this page: it is a market, built on hospitality work in the Caribbean, and it publishes no address because there is no office there to publish. ## About the United States, plainly There is no company incorporated in the United States. The Delaware entity is in formation and this page will say so the day that changes. Today you contract with POLARGATE, S.L., a Spanish company, we invoice in dollars where that suits you, and we cover American hours. What we will not do is imply a subsidiary that does not exist yet. ## What the map is actually worth to you Coverage from UTC-8 to UTC+1 means somebody is awake for almost the whole working day of a European or American client, so a question asked at nine in the morning in Los Angeles or in Amsterdam does not wait until tomorrow. Which company do I sign with, and do you have a US entity? You sign with POLARGATE, S.L., the Spanish company whose registered office is Calle Electrónica 6 in Madrid. Everything else on this page, Amsterdam, Dublin, Hamburg, Munich, New York, Miami and Los Angeles, is a contracted workspace and not a registered seat, so no contract is signed by a local entity. There is no company incorporated in the United States: the Delaware entity is in formation, and until it exists we will not describe it as one. American clients contract with the Spanish company, can be invoiced in dollars, and get our coverage of their hours. Can we meet in person in my city? Usually yes, with notice. The eight addresses are real buildings we can book a room in for a kickoff, a discovery workshop or a delivery review, and Madrid and Amsterdam are the easiest to arrange at short notice because that is where we are based. For the German, Irish and American workspaces, tell us the week you have in mind and we will confirm rather than improvise. Day to day the work happens in your repositories, in the client portal with tickets and hours, and on scheduled calls, so nothing depends on being in the same room. What hours and languages do you actually cover? From UTC-8 to UTC+1, which is the honest span of the nine locations. In practice that means the European morning is fully covered, the European afternoon overlaps with the American morning, and the Pacific afternoon still reaches us. Nobody is on call around the clock, and we would rather say so than sell a follow the sun promise two people cannot keep. Languages are Spanish, English and Dutch, all three native and written as such, not machine translated after the fact.
